MY STYLE

I am all about the natural, documentary style when it comes to filming your wedding in Oxfordshire, and in fact in any location!

My aim is to always blend into the background, so you hardly even know I’m there, allowing me to naturally capture all the moments of your day.

I have a really carefully selected kit with a small but mighty camera, mics and a drone (which I will fly when the weather is good and the venue OKs it – and at no extra charge to you!).

I’m really proud to have been selected as the winner for the Wedding Industry Awards in the South Central Wedding Videographer category in 2022. I was also a finalist in the nationals.

MY EXPERIENCE IN FILMS

I have a HND in film making from Northampton University, but I learnt most of what I do from my day job and film projects I’ve worked on over the years.

Day to day I work for a Children’s TV production company where I have had the pleasure of filming and editing. Here’s a little IMDB page that will hopefully show me as a director one day!

I have also edited corporate and promo videos for private clients, and short films.

In 2014 I edited my sister in laws wedding video for her. From here, it snowballed and I filmed and edited some friends, then friends of friends, then in 2017 I had a website and a business!

Because I live in the Oxfordshire postcode, I tend to get lots of business around the M40. From converted barns to DIY weddings and manor houses with the Chiltern’s backdrop, I’ve seen some incredible days unfold at venues including:

Are you a wedding videographer based in Oxfordshire?

I live in an Oxfordshire village called Chinnor, so yes! I am based in Oxfordshire. I have filmed at the beautiful St Andrew’s Church here too.

What time do you stay until on the day of the wedding?

I usually stay an hour after the first dance. I get some shots of the party and some dancing!

What time do you start?

That depends on the time of your Oxfordshire ceremony, but it is usually about 2 hours before the ceremony starts to allow me to video bridal prep and get everyone set up with mics

Do you have a drone for your wedding videography in Oxfordshire?

I do have a done and love to fly it to get some stunning birds eye view shots of your Oxfordshire venue. You won’t be charged extra for a drone, however there are occasions when I can’t fly it like if there is an airport near by, if it’s bad weather, and sometimes venues just say no.

Where have you filmed weddings in Oxfordshire?

I’ve been a wedding videographer in Oxfordshire at some fantastic venues. I’ve been at Manor Farm Barn, Blenheim Palace, Lady Margaret Hall, Tythe Barn, Spread Eagle Hotel, Lains Barn and more!

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have public liability insurance for filming weddings in Oxfordshire, and all across the UK.

How much should you spend on a wedding videographer?

Wedding videography is something that takes time. It’s not only on the day. I spend hours sorting clips, editing, finding music, syncing audio. This is why wedding videographers aren’t cheap. But, we can give you something that you can look back on over and over again. If a wedding videographer is offering very cheap videography in Oxfordshire make sure you check their reviews, insurance, and see their work.

Is it better to have a wedding videographer in Oxfordshire or a photographer?

If you can, have both! It’s amazing to look back on the video and share it with people who couldn’t make it. Photos are great to have around the house too relive your day.
