ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER IN ESSEX?

From manor houses and hotels to quaint barns and unique venues, you won’t be short of places to celebrate in the county of Essex.

I’ve got a few family connections in Essex, so while I don’t live in the area, I always love to film a wedding there as I often tie it in with a visit! I’ve filmed close to Leigh on Sea, Southend, and Chelmsford.

Essex offers a great backdrop, lots of countryside and even the coast. With it’s close proximity to the M25, M1 and Southend Airport, your guests will easily be able to make their way to your wedding – even if they’re coming from far. The major towns have lots of hotels, airBnbs, and quaint seaside BnB’s too so everyone will have somewhere to stay. For my sister in laws wedding we stayed in a beautiful BnB with seaside views before getting a VW camper van to the venue!

Most Essex wedding venues these days have a marriage licence, but there are also lots of churches in Essex and registry offices too.

In 2022, I filmed a wedding at Hylands Estate in Chelmsford. This was one incredible wedding, Dhol drummers, delicious food, emotional speeches, and a couple who seemed absolutely besotted!

It was a real pleasure to be part of their day.

ESSEX WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER FAQ

What time do you arrive on the day?

I like to get to prep a few hours before the wedding. I’ll go to one of the couple to take shots of them getting ready. So the time I arrive will depend on the time of your ceremony.

How long have you been in the wedding business?

I’ve been filming and edited weddings since I took on the task of edited the footage from my sister in laws wedding in 2014 (She got married in a DIY barn in essex!). In 2017 I started it as a business.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have public liability insurance. Ask for any further details and if your venue needs to know more info on this.

Do you live in Essex?

I live in a village about an hour away, but my sister lives in Leigh on Sea so I know the area well! I have also filmed weddings around the Essex side of the M25 and A127.

What’s your booking process?

We usually will have a call on the phone or video chat. If you decide to go ahead and book then I will require a £100 deposit to secure the booking. The final payment is due before the wedding day. You can pay in installments up to the day if that helps you manage your budget!

Do you have a drone?

I do have a drone which I fly during my wedding videos in Essex as long as the weather is right and the venue allows. Sometimes I can’t fly it because of the venue being close to airports, so I never charge extra for drone use.

When will I get my video?

Your video will be with you between 6 and 10 weeks. I never rush a video! Sorting clips, arranging them, choosing music, syncing audio, all takes time.
